Johnny Unsaddled

Johnny Unsaddled is a short Western with an unlikely hero: Johnny, a mining horse of the Wild West who, after years in harness, breaks free in search of a new life in the classless town of New Harmony. When his former owner picks up the trail, a final showdown becomes inevitable.

Directed by Michael Perfahl, the film plays as an affectionate homage to the Spaghetti Western while keeping a serious thread of liberation running underneath.
